Greener computing, one LED at a time

Our environmental strategy is simple: use fewer machines than a cafeteria, reuse every cable until it physically disintegrates, and offset emissions by never commuting.

Our green priorities

Three pillars guide every decision: consume little, reuse always, and never print anything.

Energy efficiency

The entire network runs on a single power strip. When productivity drops, we enter standby mode by closing the laptop lid.

Circular hardware

Old laptops become servers, old phones become remote controls, and old cables become abstract desk sculptures.

Carbon footprint

Emissions are roughly equivalent to one person breathing near a monitor. We plan to remain carbon-neutral by staying indoors.

Sustainability report

Our annual report is published exclusively inside my head, dramatically reducing paper waste. External auditors have described it as "not a report" and "please stop calling."

Highlights from last year:

  • 0 sheets of paper consumed by the company
  • 3 old chargers successfully untangled
  • 100% of snacks sourced from the same kitchen
  • 1 houseplant promoted to Chief Oxygen Officer
